The Acura MDX has one trim level. The interior design and features are a technology enthusiasts dream. Although the MDX sports plenty of technology, the system is user friendly and easy to use. It comes equipped with voice activation and a multipurpose control knob. The center stack holds all the controls for multimedia and climate control. The MDX comes standard with the Panasonic/ELS surround sound stereo system, which it top of the line for car audio packages.

The Acura MDX has a good amount of passenger and cargo space. It is not the most spacious mid-sized luxury SUV, but the seating is comfortable with a decent amount of leg room. The third row seating is better suited for children, but adults can ride in the third row fairly comfortably for shorter trips. The second row seating reclines and adjusts for a comfortable ride. The MDX comes with better than average cargo space, at 83.5 cubic feet with the second and third rows folded.

The 2012 Acura MDX luxury mid-sized SUV has some awesome features that come standard. These features include triple zoned climate control, a power lift gate, a sunroof, leather interior, rear view camera on auto dimming rear view mirror, heated eight way power front seats, driver lumbar that adjust two ways, privacy glass, xenon headlamps, fog lamps, heated side mirrors, 18-inch wheels, satellite radio, auxiliary audio jacks, eight speaker sound system with a six disc changer, and power tilt and telescoping steering wheel.

If standard features do not give the buyer everything wanted, the technology upgrade is sure to please. This package comes with an Acura/ELS 10 speaker surround sound system (voice controlled), digital music storage, iPod and USB interface, 8 inch display navigation system with dial controller, upgraded leather upholstery, GPS linked solar sensing climate control, real time weather and traffic, and a multi-view parking package. The Acura MDX with the technology package starts at $46,605.

If the buyer is looking for every bell and whistle offered by Acura, the Acura MDX luxury mid-sized SUV advance package offers all of the technology package upgrades plus ventilated and heated front seats, a sport steering wheel, adaptive cruise control, , blind-spot warning system, collision mitigation and warning system, 19-inch wheels, and adjustable suspension dampers. This price tag begins at $48,819.

The third upgrade option is called the entertainment package and it can be added to either of the other packages. This package includes heated second row seats plus a rear-seat entertainment system. Technology plus entertainment starts at $48,805 and Advance plus entertainment package begins at $54,455.

As you can see, the Acura MDX is a great mid sized SUV option for 2012. The price is right for the class of vehicle and it is a magnificent vehicle. The standard options are fabulous and there are many upgrades that can be added to give buyers the SUV of their dreams.
