The Spider rides better than its Coupe brother, and not just because of body flex. Stiffer springs showcase the C8 Spider Convertible's superb ride and handling balance, but at the same time, the driver feels a softer, more comfortable, yet more wieldy ride than in the coupe. The balance is also quite a bit better on this vehicle.
With only 500 of the 2011 Alfa Romeo 8C Spider Convertibles being sold, it'll be hard to get your hands on this gorgeous automobile, if you are able to at all.
Storage/luggage space is seriously lacking. There's only enough room for about one regular-sized suitcase in the boot- and little else. There's also only about an inch of space between the seat backs and the firewall. Drivers must hold out hope that their passenger's lap can also act as storages.
The sporty 8C Spider Convertible's brakes lack the finesse of Alfa Romeo's steel alternative, but they're still rather powerful.
