After much review, we can say that the Alfa Romeo Giulietta certainly lives up to its reputation in terms of safety, styling, and performance, though its styling is probably the most impressive. It gives us something a little bit different than anything we've seen before- without being too "out there."
We also have to agree that the engine options are impressive; they're quick and efficient (especially the award-winning MultiAir engine), but the Cloverleaf model does leave something to be desired.
All in all, the Alfa Romeo Giulietta is a great choice- one of which any driver desiring a sporty, luxurious (but still affordable) vehicle would be proud. Its unique character will draw drivers from many different walks of life, and it's sure to cement Alfa Romeo's re-launch into the United States. The Giulietta is quirky, different, and makes a big splash with fantastic Italian styling.
Price is very reasonable for the Giulietta and starts around $28,000 to $36,000 in the U.S.
There are certainly also negative aspects of the new Alfa Romeo Giulietta. The cabin appearance may be enhanced by light, but we find its quality fairly uninspiring. The plastics certainly could have been made more durable.
As in some other Italian models, reliability seems to be a slight issue.
The Giulietta appears to require better integration of its new technology systems, especially between the satellite navigation and the DNA system. It could be difficult to operate for some users, as it seems fairly finicky.
Handling of the Alfa Romeo Giulietta is acceptable, but nothing more. The system is certainly proficient, but it isn't very thrilling. And while the steering is responsive, the Dynamic mode is the only mode in which you should try to do any type of aggressive driving.
