The Aston Martin name has become synonymous through the years with luxury and class. The Aston Martin V8 Vantage Coupe is no exception. Those who want a practical vehicle with high performance capabilities will likely be disappointed with this vehicle, but those that simply want the beauty and extravagance that come with the Aston Martin name will find their needs are more than adequately met. Considering the high price tag, it is up to consumers to decide whether or not they want to opt for a vehicle that offers more in handling and abilities or if they prefer to stick with the lavish look of the V8 Vantage.

The beautiful appearance of the Aston Martin V8 Vantage Coupe is not reserved for the outside of the vehicle. The interior boasts the same elegant style that is expected from the Aston Martin name. From the leather upholstery to the trim of the control panel, there is little about the cabin that does not boast a luxurious feel. Owners will turn heads with controls and gadgets that are close in resemblance to other Aston Martin vehicles that are in a higher price range. What owners will not find, however, are several features that are standard on other luxury sports cars. Instead, these features are an option that must be added and paid for on the V8 Vantage.

Even though the Aston Martin V8 Vantage Coupe boasts a powerful engine, it lacks in the performance that one might expect. Drivers will find the experience to be both fun and comfortable, but they will quickly see that this vehicle does not offer the same power and handling that the competitors have. In fact, it provides an overall ride that is less than thrilling in this price range and class.

For a couple or even an individual the Aston Martin V8 Vantage Coupe is a nice car with a nice ride. For those that need a vehicle capable of hauling a family or friends, the V8 Vantage simply cannot measure up. Other roadsters boast a back seat where this only has room for two. Though quite impractical for families, individuals will find the V8 Vantage more than meets their needs. A large trunk with more than adequate storage space ensures that even long trips can be handled in style.

The engine on the Aston Martin V8 Vantage Coupe will depend on the trim that is selected. The main engine is a 4.7 liter V8 on all trims. However, the S trim boasts an engine with 430 horsepower while the other trims have a 420 horsepower. Each engine is mated with a six speed manual transmission as standard, but owners have the option to switch to a seven speed automated manual that boasts a single clutch. Either way, the potential for power is available with the V8 Vantage. Gas mileage does not suffer much as the car offers anywhere from 13 mpg in the city to 21 mpg on the highway depending on which options are selected. It also has ample safety features standard on every trim and additional safety features that can be chosen as an option.
