BMW has really outdone itself with the features that it has included in this ride. This car is one of the only ones from BMW to offer what is called 'Head up display' which uses graphics to display pertinent information to the driver using the windscreen as a monitor. It helps to identify traffic lights and symbols and, when combined with the night vision, helps the driver to make out these objects in less than desirable lighting conditions. In addition to this feature, the car also has Rear view, Top view, and side view cameras. These allow the driver to better determine how far away his car is from other cars and objects in the area. BMW also has a Driver Assistance package that consists of: Lane departure warnings, parking assistance, active blind spot detection and automatic high beams. Speaking of the Head lights, BMW is using a technology different from the commonplace LEDs, replacing it with Adaptive LEDs which features an LED light ring and utilizes both low and high beams.
The trims available on this car are the 640i, the 650i and their xDrive variants, not counting the convertible version of this car. The 640i features a six cylinder engine, while the 650i offers an eight V8 engine. The 640i features a single turbo engine, which allows for 315 horsepower. As said previously, the 640i is much better for handling due to its lightness. The 650i is an upgrade from the base model and it has 400 horsepower, which enough for 450 lb-ft torque. The fuel efficiency drops from a decent 31mpg to a measly 23mpg on the highway. The BMW's 6 series coupe is a great example of BMW luxury is all about. With its suave James Bond appearance, it can make even the most proud individuals green with envy for this ride.
