The 2012 BMW M3 Sedan 2012 is a practical and stunning beauty, combined with superior performance, power and road handling. This 4-door sedan has a streamlined design, which not only demands attention on the road, it allows drivers to take maximum advantage of its power, while increasing fuel-efficiency. While 13 mpg in the city and 20 mpg on the highway may not seem that impressive to most, for its engine size, this is more than acceptable.

Coupled with an array of sophisticated features, the M3 delivers the perks of a multifunctional sedan that serves its purpose just as well as a sports car as it does a family care. Its high revving, 4000cc hand built 4.0-liter V-8 engine packs enough power for the BMW M3 sedan to accelerate from zero to 60 mph in a brisk 4.6 seconds. This engine offers 414 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, and can top out at 155 mph. Based on the proverbial M3 design; the 2012 BMW M3 has legendary road handling capabilities and comes with your choice of either a 6-speed manual transmission or the more sophisticated double clutch 7-speed transmission.

Thanks to the enhanced use of aluminum and carbon fiber in parts such as in the forward frame, suspension and various body panels, the BMW M3 sedan is a lighter weight model compared to earlier versions. It also helps shift some of the weight towards the rear, which adds to the sporty feel of the sedan. This ultimately adds to a marked improvement in fuel economy and overall performance.

Slipping inside of the 2012 BMW M3 Sedan is a treat. The cabin is luxurious, with all features thoughtfully placed, so you don't have to constantly take your eyes off the road to find something. The front seats are more than roomy for even a tall driver, but the rear seat is a bit cramped. It is fine for children and even adults won't be complaining on a short drive, but long drives may get a little uncomfortable after a while. What it is lacking in rear passenger room, it more than makes up for in cargo space though, as the trunk is more sufficient.

If safety is your main concern, you will be thrilled to know that not only does the M3 Sedan have all the safety features you would expect to come standard, it has the ability to stop from 60 mph in only 100 feet. This is unheard of in this class, and most other classes! Plus, it was given the highest rating possible for frontal-offset and side-impact crash tests.
