The 2012 Buick LaCrosse eAssist Sedan is proof that General Motors has learned quite a bit about what people want in a hybrid vehicle and they have simultaneously proven they can also deliver on this particular type of automobile. When the engineers at Buick set out to design a version of the already capable LaCrosse that would get better fuel economy they knew it would have to be some type of hybrid. The main thing they wanted to avoid when developing the vehicle was the negative driving aspects that some hybrids can provide. For instance, they did not want the transition between gas and electric motors to be noticeable because that is a major complaint that hybrid owners consistently have. Fortunately for GM, the only way anyone would ever realize that the eAssist version of the LaCrosse was not a fully gas powered automobile is when it comes time to fill the fuel tank. That is because it will end up happening far less often! With a car like this in its lineup, Buick is showing everyone that they are a truly modern contender in the automobile world and people are starting to recognize all of the changes they have made.
Aside from the new eAssist feature the LaCrosse only gets a few minor modifications as compared to the previous year. The interior is gorgeous and continues to impress the critics and buyers alike. Wood grain and chrome accents adorn the passenger cabin and add to the classic appeal of the vehicle. Sitting in the driver's seat will make any person feel like a winner especially when they see how slowly the gas gauge goes down. The passengers also have their own amenities to enjoy such as video entertainment and available headphone jacks. The exterior of the Buick LaCrosse eAssist also boasts clean lines and distinctive design elements like a bold grille and tastefully designed tail lights. It is universally lauded for its styling by a majority of the visitors to the salesroom. Of course everyone loves cool extras and this car certainly has them. LED lighting is prevalent inside and guarantees bright illumination for the entire cockpit and the backup camera will give parents the peace of mind they need to back out of the driveway safely. There are a couple of faults that were found with the car but they are nothing that should dissuade someone from purchasing one. The trunk is a bit tight thanks to the eAssist battery and visibility out of the rear window leaves something to be desired.
