Looking toward the future, the Citroen C-0 Hatchback is a 100% electric mini car resulting from the partnership of PSA and Mitsubishi. Designed for ultimate electric mobility, the Citroen C-0 has longer battery life between charges and faster charging time, which is good news all around. It is a small vehicle that takes very little space, so it's perfect for in town driving and squeezing in tight parking spaces, yet it provides enough run time on one battery life to allow for easy daily commuting. The C-0 is not the first time that an attempt at electric cars has been made on the European market, but manufacturers have taken into consideration the changes that needed to be made, such as the battery life and long charge time, and are confident that this attempt will be more positive. Due to the fact that the first attempt had very limited range and batteries were so expensive, thus making the car more expensive, the car never made it past experimentation. The Citroen C-0 Hatchback is only half of their current attempt to market the electric car, with the other half being the Peugeot iOn and the difference between the two being the interior and exterior style, as well as the price.

Made smaller to accommodate the electric battery that runs it, the Citroen C-0 Hatchback may be too small to carry larger families, but there are benefits that make this car work for smaller families and individuals. It can be fully charged in the time that it takes to get a full night's sleep, or even the hours that are worked during the day, and the charge lasts plenty long enough to complete daily commutes and any errands on the list. The C-0 Hatchback is more environmentally friendly than standard cars, and drivers do not have to worry about emissions from the engine not passing regulations. It has the ability to go up to 81 miles per hour and can achieve a speed of 62 miles per hour in a mere 15.9 seconds. With all of the capabilities of a gasoline powered car, this electric mini car can save gas and money while still getting where it needs to go.

As far as safety and security are concerned, the Citroen C-0 Hatchback features child lock indicator, ESP and traction control, front lateral airbags, ABS, driver side airbag, seatbelt warning lamp with buzzer, transponder immobilizer and remote control central locking.
