Spyker Coupe Reviews

Spyker Cars might be confusing for some. After all, the name dates back to a Dutch car manufacturer from the late 1800s. Today it is the name of a Dutch sports car manufacturer. Are they the same? Technically, no. The new version of Spyker Cars purchased the legal right to the brand name in 1999. The original company had built cars and airplanes before going bankrupt. The new name was used for a Dutch company that made its sole focus supercar sports cars. It has developed a loyal following for both the Spyker Coupe and Convertible models.

The Spyker coupe models available today share many details that were created using the inspiration of airplanes. These lavish sports cars offer exactly what the buyer expects when they purchase one. High speeds, superior handling, precise steering and luxurious comfort come together in each of these cars to make them worth the price being paid for them. Known around the world for their supercars, Spyker employs both coupe and convertible models in its designs. There are a few Coupes that are still in production even after over ten years in the sports car business.

The C8 Laviolette Coupe is among the luxurious sports cars still being offered by Spyker. This Spyker Coupe boasts a 4.2 liter 400 hp V8 motor with a six speed manual transmission. This kind of power makes it possible for the coupe to go from 0 to 60 in only 6.5 seconds. The power and handling of this car is matched only by the lavish interior that comes with it. Details inspired by aircraft in a stylish atmosphere that offers full leather and brushed aluminum gives an aura of class to owners. It also has the precise steering that one expects in a supercar.

The C8 Aileron Coupe is a Spyker coupe that has a distinctively different design. It has a longer wheelbase than the Laviolette and that it makes it slightly larger coupe. It boasts a 4.2 liter 400 hp Audi V8 engine and buyers can choose between a six speed manual or six speed automatic transmission. A new dashboard and unique styling ensure that there is nothing on the market or the road that comes anywhere near resembling the Aileron Coupe. It truly is a look that is set out from the crowd and that appeals to many of its current buyers.

The Spyker Coupe models that are available have a few things in common. For starters, they feature an interior that is a bit excessive. There is far more in the cabin than is necessary. The doors swing upward and a button is used for opening and closing. They are fast. They may be faster than the average sports car. The coupes have a handling that is superior as well. The hard part is that they can offer a bumpy ride that one might not enjoy as much as they had planned. Even with the right shocks, there is a lot to absorb when driving a Spyker.
