The GMC Sierra 3500HD Truck comes in the Regular, Extended and the Crew Cab designs. Buyers can also select between the rear-wheel drive pickups, the four-wheel drive and the dual-rear-wheel-axle. There are four general trim levels that one can choose from. If the Extended Cab and the Crew Cab pickup are selected, then the available trims include the Work Trick, the SLE, SLT and top Denali. There are only two trims available for the Regular Cabin though and these are the Work Truck and the SLE trims. The most basic trim to get is the Work Truck and this comes with the most basic features one can expect from the GMC Sierra 3500HD Truck. As one moves from one trim to the next, the features and styling options increases and the pinnacle in the line-up belongs to the Denali trim.

The Work Truck is the most basic trim for the Sierra 3500HD but buyers should not be fooled into thinking that this work horse is lacking in features and capabilities. The WT trim still packs all the power and the strength needed by a driver to meet the demands of heavy duty work. Some of the best features to expect on this trim include power locks and windows, remote keyless entry, power camper mirrors, the Premium cloth split bench front seat with the locking under seat storage and the technologically advanced OnStar. Now OnStar is standard for all trims and this is considered as a safety feature and comes in handy during accidents. This can send information about the location of the accident even if the driver cannot physically send the message.

The SLT trim of the Sierra gets all the basic features for the WT and a few more. An added amenity is the Autotrac electronic transfer case for 4WD models. The SLT trim packs the best features, including the use of premium materials and technology. Buyers can expect only the best and most comfortable features including Bluetooth, the Bose premium speaker system, dual-zone air conditioning system, and the ultra-soft nuance leather appointed seats that comes with 10-way adjustment and audio controls fitted on the steering wheel. For someone looking for the best, the GMC Sierra 3500HD Truck Denali trim is the best bet. The selection of features is top-notch from the heated and cooled leather seats, power adjustable pedals and of course the optional Duramax and Allison transmission system.
