The 2012 Honda Accord Crosstour is available in EX and EX-L trim variants that are appointed with an array of thoughtful amenities. The entry level EX equips the 2012 Crosstour with dual zone automatic climate control, rearview camera. 17" alloy wheels, 4 way power passenger front seats and 8 way for the driver, iPod/USB audio interface, keyless entry, 6 CD changer with Bluetooth and a 7 speaker audio system, sunroof, rear seats that fold at a 60/40 split and fog lamps. Moving up to the top of the line 2012 Honda Accord Crosstour adds a detachable utility box that is concealed, heated front seats, cargo cover, 18" wheels, satellite radio complete with an upgraded sound system, auto dimming rearview mirror and memory functions for the driver's seat. Voice activated navigation is the only option available for the EX-L trim.

Even though the 2012 Honda Accord Crosstour did skimp out in some aspects, safety still remains top priority just like any other Honda vehicle and is evident with stability and traction control, side curtain airbags, brake assist complete with antilock brakes, front seat side airbags and active head restraints for the front seats. The 2012 Honda Accord Crosstour received a rating of "good" inside crash protection and frontal offset tests, and a step below the worse score of "marginal" in roof strength tests by the Insurance Institute for Highway safety.

The Honda Accord Crossover the multipurpose control knob, voice activity and mounted work together to diminishing the rather confusing activity and simplifies many of the operations. There's no doubt the cabin is extensively spaced, but this is the case with all cars in this segment. The front and rear seats offer an abundance of leg and head space, with the seats being supportive and comfortable, but some consumers may find the lumbar support abrasive. The 2012 Crosstour is definitely offers more versatility over the Accord with the ability to facilitate bulky cargo seamlessly, but is still less than the space offered by other traditional crossovers and wagons. Behind the rear seats is 25.7 cubic feet of storage space, which extends to 51.3 cubes when folded down.

The Subaru Outback is a close contender to the 2012 Crosstour, and comes standard with all wheel drive, offers better fuel economy and more cargo space. The outback doesn't however come with all the standard features as the Crosstour, but is still a cheaper deal when equipped with its optional features. The Toyota Venza is based on the Camry and ranks high and above the 2012 Honda Accord Crosstour in terms of upscale feel, practicality and price. The Crosstour is similar to the Accord, when it comes to predictive handling and precise steering; The 2012 Honda Accord Crosstour provides a great ride on the highway and with minimal noise, which still isn't enough reason to make this your sole choice.
