The Hyundai Tucson offers good value for money in the small crossover SUV market place. The 2012Tucson offers something that the run-of-the mill small crossover SUV's in its class do not, and that is an extremely positive driving experience at a bargain price. For $19000, consumers get more than they would expect, and a few thousand dollars more appoints the Tucson with perks similar to those found in the luxury SUV category.

The cabin is roomy and has head room enough for the freakishly tall, and the general ambiance is spacious and richly appointed. This is the ideal crossover for those who don't want to break the bank, but at the same time want to sport a smile behind the wheel. The 2012 Tucson SUV Crossover lives up to Hyundai's traditional reputation of delivering a lot of "bang for the buck", which is evident through the list of standard features tagged with every vehicle. The engine choices are nothing to brag about, but are just enough to sustain its class. Buyers can choose between a 4 cylinder 2.0 liter engine that produces 165 horsepower and a 176 horsepower 2.4 liter engine. Like its long list of standard features, the SUV does come along with almost the same amount of pitfalls, and to start with is the aspect of cabin space. The cabin is relatively small compared to its competitors CR-V, Equinox and Rav4, but again you get what you pay for. With the 18" wheels, the ride quality is rather stiff, and seems to be a common issue with all the trims. For those that need the extra space should consider the aforementioned crossovers, but those who can find serenity in the deteriorated cabin, this is an astute choice.
