With good dependability and fuel efficiency, the latest 2012 Hyundai Veloster Coupe is a steal, especially for those looking for a cheaply priced car with good performance. An affordable price tag with a sporty look, the Hyundai Veloster Coupe is a great alternative if you are looking for a sports car that is fun to drive around, but you don't want a high payment or outrageous insurance costs. It's definitely the design that caught the attention of consumers, and that's why sales have been drastically increasing since the release of the Veloster Coupe. Not just a sporty looking car, the Hyundai Veloster Coupe also offers great technologically advanced features to offer convenience to drivers while behind the wheel.

The 2012 Hyundai Veloster comes equipped with a 1.6-liter inline-4 engine that produces 138 horsepower and 123 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed manual transmission is standard, but you have the option of adding an automated dual-clutch manual with shift peddles on the steering wheel. It accelerates zero to 60 mph in 10.2 seconds, which is sluggish in the segment, but at least it looks good doing it. Not to mention, fuel economy is exceptional, returning 28 mpg in the city and 40 mpg on the highway.

What's distinct about the Hyundai Veloster Coupe is the sport bike-like performance that features pillars, which gives the exterior the look of a motorcycle helmet visor. It is certainly one that will demand attention on the road.

It may look like a sports car on the outside, but the 2012 Hyundai Veloster Coupe falls greatly behind those considered as such; the engine performance is average. Performance-wise, the Hyundai Veloster is a harsh ride that lacks swift steering-wheel technology. Aside from that, another drawback is the rear seating, where there is not much space to fit adult passengers. While driving, the road noise is noticeably loud compared to other Hyundai designs, especially during long drives. That being said, the three-door layout is something drivers are looking for these days, and even with the rear seats in place, the trunk offers 15.5 cubic feet of space. If you need more, those rear seats fold down completely.

the 2012 Hyundai Veloster comes with antilock brakes, airbags, stability and traction control, electronic brakeforce distribution and BlueLink telematics system. This system offers a lot of features similar to OnStar. Turn-by-turn navigation will come in handy ,and there is even a geo-fence system, which alerts parents when the car has left a specified radius, which offers peace-of-mind with teenage drivers.
