Part of what makes the Infiniti EX SUV Crossover so useful is its large engine. The Infiniti EX SUV Crossover uses a 297 horsepower 3.5L V6 engine. This works exceptionally well thanks to how the weight distribution is incredibly even around the entire body of the car. The car uses a Front Midship platform to help keep the weight under control to where the steering will be responsive and the vehicle will not deal with any rollover risks.

The interior of the car features leather and aluminum finishes around it. The seats are said by Infiniti to be inspired by the fine fittings of a kimono. The seats are well contoured and can come in one of three different leather tones that can work with assorted wood finishes just as well. The items all around the chairs can also be adjusted in several ways. Even the headrests can be tilted.

The outside view around the windows is rough but the Around View Monitor on the Infiniti EX SUV Crossover helps to offset this issue. This uses cameras around four outside parts to create a full view of one's outside surroundings. This is used to warn the driver in the event that the car ever gets close to something. This feature on the Infiniti EX SUV Crossover also appears to have spread to the throttle and brake in that the Distance Control Assist feature works to adjust throttle and brake functions when the vehicle gets closer to slow moving traffic.

The Brake Assist feature is especially helpful. The vehicle does have airbags on its front and side curtain airbags too but the Brake Assist helps to ensure that the Infiniti EX SUV Crossover doesn't use them. This helps by applying the maximum brake power when needed in the event of a collision risk. This even works with Preview Braking to prepare the car for stopping with proper brake levels based on how far a car might be from another car in front of it.
