The Compass comes loaded with 17 inch wheels, a cd player, roof rails, rear seats that recline for a more comfortable ride, and 4WD options. It also comes with a 2.4 liter four cylinder engine pulling in 172 horsepower and getting on average around 22 miles per gallon in the city and 28 miles per gallon on the highway. Jeep has also given the compass an all new suspension makeover which gives this SUV a ride of improved solidity and dignity.

Jeep offers several different packages for the 2011 Jeep Compass. One of them is the Security and Cargo Convenience Group package which gives the Compass many new features. These include an additional security alarm, an auto-dimming rearview mirror for night driving to cut out on the blinding from the cars behind you, a cargo cover so no one can see what you are carrying, a trip computer, and front side airbags.
