The 2012 model of the Lexus CT Hybrid Sedan Hatchback offers gorgeous styling, thoughtful features and a surprisingly affordable price, starting at just $29,120. One of the most popular features that it offers is its voice-activated warning technology that alerts pedestrians and cyclists that the vehicle is approaching. Another great feature is the optional F Sport Package, which includes an improved suspension and several visual tweaks to the sedan.

The Lexus CT has many of the same components as the Lexus HS 250h, though does have a lower stance and a unique suspension that make its handling a bit more exciting. Still, despite its engaging handling, most say that the throttle feels a bit numb. Moreover, the new Lexus CT Hybrid Sedan Hatchback is loaded with exceptional features, including adjustable drive modes. The Sport setting enhances throttle and steering response. Because of this, sports car aficionados should have fun driving the Lexus CT. While many have called this the most exceptional hybrid sports car they have ever driven, others are not satisfied with the chassis or steering response of the vehicle.

The 2012 Lexus CT Hybrid is powered by a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine, paired up with a couple of electric motor/generator to produce 142 horsepower and 134 pound-feet of torque. It accelerates zero to 60 mph in a pokey 10.4 seconds. You will not be winning any races with this sluggish acceleration. Of course, you won't be complaining either when you have to fill up less as this vehicle returns 43 mpg in the city and 40 mpg on the highway.

The CT hybrid was rated "Good" in frontal-offset, side-impact and roof-strength crash tests, and when braking was tested, it was found to stop from 60 mph in 120 feet, which is quite good for a sedan. Just a few of the many safety features that come standard include child seat anchors, whiplash protection system in the front head restraints, electronic brakeforce distribution, post-collision safety system, tire pressure monitoring, stability and traction control, emergency braking assist, engine immobilizer, dusk sensing headlamps and turn signal mirrors,

This is the type of a luxury sports car that is harsh enough to make you shudder during high-speed driving, but its steering ability brings you a different level of excitement. Whether it is the stunning finish of this vehicle's exterior paint job, or the interior finishes and fittings, the Lexus CT Hybrid Sedan Hatchback is yet another Lexus masterpiece that could rival the best hybrid vehicles around the world.
