The 2010 Grand Marquis comes in an 8-cylinder engine with rear-wheel drive. It runs at 224hp at 4800RPM with a torque of 275lb-ft. A standard four-speed automatic transmission is in place. Reviews and actual driving tests show that the Grand Marquis can go from 0 to 60mph in about 8.5 seconds. It includes 17-inch wheels, automatic headlights, keyless entry system, fog lamps, automatic climate controls, leather upholstery, power-adjustable pedals, automatic dimming rearview mirror and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The fuel efficiency of the 2010 Grand Marquis is not impressive in reviews but still an improvement from its predecessors. It is currently at 16 miles per gallon on city driving, 24 miles per gallon on highway driving and 19 miles per gallon on combined driving. Safety equipment installed in the standard model of the 2010 Mercury Grand Marquis are anti-lock disc brakes, front-seat side airbags and traction controls. Crash test reviews of the Grand Marquis shows good front and side impact scores.
It is such a pity that the 2010 Mercury Grand Marquis does not include modern conveniences that Ford Motors in known for. It doesn't include the essential navigation system like Sirius Travel Link and Sync. That would have at least been a good device to connect an iPod and other wireless devices for a more comfortable driving experience. The seating capacity of the car is six. Based on reviews, it is only one of the remaining sedans that can easily fit three people in the front row. The main thing going for the Grand Marquis is keeping it old-school, so if that is what you're after then this sedan can be had for about $29, 935.
