There are two trims available on the Mitsubishi Galant Sedan and both have distinctive differences. The ES is the basic vehicle while the SE offers more advanced features and options. Both trims come with a 2.4 liter 160 horsepower 4 cylinder motor and a four speed automatic transmission. Some of the standard safety features that can be found in both are stability and traction control systems, four wheel anti-lock brakes, tire pressure monitor, curtain airbags (overhead, dual front and front side-impact).
The Mitsubishi Galant Sedan ES has many of the same features people have come to expect from mid-size family sedans. It includes air-conditioning, full power options, 16 inch wheels, auto-off headlamps, cruise control and a CD player. The SE includes all of those options and adds a few more to give alternatives for those that expect even more from their family sedan. With the SE buyers will receive 18 inch alloy wheels, a sunroof, stylish trim that isn't available on the ES, satellite radio, 6 CD changer, climate control, heated front seats, Bluetooth, a navigation system and a rearview camera. Options for both models include leather seats, iPod interface and a remote ignition.
For those wanting a mid-size family sedan that is adequate for commuting and provides comfort and space when driving, the Mitsubishi Galant Sedan will fit the bill nicely at a low price. For those that want a superior performance along with the bells and whistles that are standard on most of today's mid-size sedans, the Galant will not be the optimal choice. At the price, there are a variety of family sedans that offer much more power and stamina.
