Used 2012 Nissan Titan Truck Trims & Features

The Nissan Titan Truck comes with only one engine and transmission choice. Each of the four available trims comes with a 5.6 liter 317 hp V8 and a standard five speed automatic with a tow and hauling mode. However, buyers are given the choice of two or four wheel drive. There are limited configurations available for those that want to combine specific features. The King Cab versions come standard with a six foot six inch cargo bed. Crew cabs have the option of a five foot seven inch or seven foot three inch bed. The four trims available are the S, SV, Pro-4X and SL.

The King Cab S adds on 18 inch steel wheels and air conditioning. The front seat is a 40/20/40 split and the rear seat is a 60/40 split. Both seats fold as needed. With this trim buyers will also get a six speaker audio system that has a CD player. The Crew Cab S trim simply adds power windows and locks to the standard features. When buying the S trim, an optional Package called the Popular Equipment Package can be added. This features allow wheels of 18 inches, a sliding window in the rear for the King cab, a keyless entry for the Crew Cab, a wiring harness connector with seven pins and a receiver hitch. Buyers cannot choose the S trim in a Crew Cab with the longer bed.

The SV Trim of the Nissan Titan Truck begins with the features that are standard on the S trim and adds the Popular Equipment Package. The SV will also have bumpers made of chrome steel, power accessories, a tailgate assist system and standard cruise control. The audio system is upgraded to a six disc CD changer and an auxiliary jack is added. The addition of the SV Sport Appearance Package means that the wheels are upgraded to a 20 inch alloy and the exterior and interior trim is upgraded as well. The optional SV Value Truck Package will give the buyer foglights, rear parking sensors, a class IV hitch and front bucket seats. In addition, they will also receive a power driver's seat, a steering wheel wrapped in leather, auto dimming rearview mirror and Bluetooth capabilities. With the addition of the SV Utility Package, buyers will get a bedside compartment that locks, tie down cleats, lighting in the tailgate area, a 12V power source and a spray-in liner. Buyers can also choose the SV Premium Utility Package and get power adjustable pedals, heated power mirrors, front tow hooks, lower axle ratio and a Rockford Fosgate audio system with eight speakers and satellite radio.

On the Nissan Titan Truck the SL incorporates the features already mentioned with 20 inch alloy wheels (chrome optional), dual zone climate control, dirver memory, leather interior, power passenger seat and a power source in the tailgate. Wood trim and a ten speaker Rockford Fosgate system make up the remainder of this trim. The SL Maximum Utility Package adds in step rails and everything from the SV Premium Utility Package.

Every four wheel drive version of the Nissan Titan Truck except for the Crew Cab long bed can get the Pro-4X trim. There is not much difference between this trim and the SV with the Value Truck and Utility Packages. The Pro-4X adds in heavy duty skid plates as well as rancho dampers, all terrain tires and an electronic locking rear differential. With the Pro-4X Premium Utility Package the features are very much like the SV Utility Package. The Leather Package adds in leather upholstery, a power passenger seat, driver memory. This trim is also known for the white face gauges, red stitching and leather covered shift knob that can be found in the cabin. The Pro-4X and SL Crew Cabs are eligible for the Technology Package that includes a sunroof, navigation system and a rear entertainment system. Even trim except the S can opt to have an iPod adapter as well.

Every trim of the Nissan Titan Truck comes with antilock disc brakes as a standard safety feature. They also include traction control, stability control, full length side curtain airbags and front seat side airbags.
