The 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet convertible is powerful. It contains a 3.8-liter flat six engine that creates 400 horsepower and a choice of either a Porsche 7-speed PDK transmission or the 7-speed manual transmission.

The Carrera S Cabriolet features amazing driving dynamics. It has a fantastic-sounding engine, excellent performance. It's only a bit less impressive in the performance department than the 911 Carrera coupe despite being a convertible. New wind-control technology assures that the drivers hears and experiences as little wind resistance as possible-with or without the top down.
If you're looking for the sportiest 911 Carrera with the best driving dynamics, you should stick with the coupe version. Like most convertibles, this Cabriolet slightly compromises on driving dynamics, though the S variant certainly makes up for this somewhat with its increased power.
Options and packages can rapidly increase the price of the 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet S Convertible to nearly twice its original MSRP.
