Pros The Porsche 911 Carrera 4S Cabriolet convertible coupe features a very advanced roof package, which opens with a button on the key remote or the center console. This automatic folding roof is fully-electric, heat-insulated, and soundproof. It opens and closes in only twenty seconds and is both scratch resistant and electronically heated.

Pros There are plenty of power options available, including a chose between a six-speed manual transmission (featuring Porsche Traction Management) and the seven-speed Porsche double-clutch (PDK) transmission. (Though, the PDK increases the price by about $4-thousand).

Pros Like most luxury vehicles, the Carrera 4 is highly customizable, from paint colors to aesthetic features, to add-ons and options.

Pros The Carrera 4S is even more powerful than the standard Carrera 4. It produces 385 horsepower with its six-cylinder 3.8-liter boxster engine and manual drivetrain. The 4S reaches zero-to-sixty in only 4.7 seconds. The 911 Carrera 4 models feature all-wheel-drive instead of the standard Carrera's rear-wheel-drive, which leads to a completely unique driving experience. It may also help some drivers to feel more confident when facing weather challenges.

Pros The Porsche 911 Carrera 4's ride quality is excellent, and its standard and available features, such as Porsche Communications Management (which includes radio, a CD/DVD drive, an optional Bose Surround Sound System, an optional navigation system with touchscreen, a Voice Control System, and Sound Package Plus as standard), and Bluetooth connection, are plentiful.

Pros Safety features abound and include Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes, several airbags (including knee airbags), anti-theft protection, increased rollover protection, and Porsche Side Impact Protection System.

Cons The Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet has a starting price under $110k, which isn't unreasonable for a luxury convertible coupe of its stature, but this price can quickly increase with added options and packages. And, many of these options are highly desired. Some are even expected on a luxury vehicle.
