The 911 is sold in over twenty different models this year- including Carrera models, Turbo models, and Targa models, which are divided into coupe and Cabriolet (convertible) variants. The 2012 Porsche 911 Turbo variant- one of the sportier 911 models- is available in Coupe and Cabriolet forms, as well as an even sportier Turbo S variant. The standard Porsche 911 Turbo coupe comes standard with a 3.8-lier H6 turbocharged engine that produces 450 horsepower and features a six-speed manual transmission or eight-speed Triptronic S automatic transmission. Both of these transmissions have been tweaked to handle increased torque. An optional 7-Speed PDK transmission is also optional. This coupe features an all-wheel-drivetrain with Porsche Traction Management and map-controlled multi-disc clutch.

Comfort and technology features, after review, are plentiful, and much more impressive than several of the other Porsche 911 models. Standard features on the Porsche 911 Turbo include rain-sensing windshield wipers, rooflining in Alcatara, a leather-trimmed steering wheel, full leather interior in several different color choices, a heated rear screen, integral headrests, Cruise Control, HomeLink programmable garage door opener, automatic climate control, Porsche Communication Management, a Bose Surround Sound System, Navigation, Bluetooth connection, a universal audio interface, and a telephone module. Optional technology features include Voice Control, XM Radio, and a six-disc DVD/CD auto-changer. The 911 Turbo Coupe has a starting MSRP of $137,500, so it's one of the more expensive 911 models this year.

The 2012 Porsche 911 Turbo coupe is definitely fast. It reaches zero-to-sixty in an amazing 3.5 seconds and has an impressive top track speed of 194 mph. The 911 Turbo's standard safety features are also very impressive and include: ABS, pad-wear sensors on every brake pad, deformable rear and front aprons with integral alloy bumpers on impact absorbers, Porsche Side Impact Projection, an alarm system and immobilizer, and Bi-Xenon headlights.
