German automotive company Porsche is probably best known for its sexy convertible cars. The 2012 Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet is one of the latest additions to the coupe that the company is offering. The Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet is the very image of a suave and sexy sports car. Priced at about $160,700, this coupe is both a luxuriant and powerful drive. It has better performance compared to Porsche's other pride and joy, the 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera. Based on reviews, the latter coupe runs at 408hp with 310 ft-lbs of torque while the Turbo S is at an impressive 530hp with 516ft-lbs of torque. While the Carrera is priced at only about $103,100, it is by no means on par with power on the Turbo S.

The 2012 Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet is jam packed with lavish enhancements and features that other 911 models do not have. It is after all more than half the price of the 911 Carrera. Based on reviews though, the 2012 Chevrolet Corvette can also compete with this master of the sports car for just a third of the price. The 2012 Corvette seems to be more appealing based on its design according to some reviews. It has a powerful V8 engine that may not be as good as the Turbo S but is not far behind in performance. Although it is only a rear-wheel drive, the Chevy Corvette performs better in terms of fuel economy on highway setting. A review on the Corvette also includes features not present in the Turbo S like remote engine start, automatic-off headlights, dual-zone climate control and hands-free communication system. Upon review, the safety systems in place on the Chevy Corvette are not on the same level as the ones in the 911 Turbo S.

If you don't really mind shelling out the six-figure amount for the 2012 Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet, then you are certainly getting a luxury, top of the line coupe. There are other versions of 911s from Porsche that offers good level of comparison to the Turbo S based on reviews. All these cars vary in prices but you can surely find one that would fit your style and personality if money is not much of an issue. It is safe to say that 1012 Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet is a ride that gives luxury for a price.
