More Used Porsche Coupe Reviews /All Porsche Cars

The Porsche 911 is available in over twenty variations this year- including Turbo models, Carrera models, and Targa models, which are divided into Cabriolet (convertible) and coupe variants. The 2012 Porsche 911 Turbo S variant- one of the sportier 911 models- is available in Coupe and Cabriolet forms, as well as the base Turbo variant. The Porsche 911 Turbo S coupe comes standard with a 3.8-liter 6 turbocharged engine that produces 530 horsepower and features the eight-speed Triptronic S PDK automatic transmission with Porsche Traction Management. This transmission has been tweaked to handle increased torque. This coupe features an all-wheel-drivetrain with map-controlled multi-disc clutch.

The 2012 Porsche 911 Turbo S coupe is powerful, and it's fast. This coupe travels from zero-to-sixty in an amazing 3.1 seconds (.4 seconds less than the standard Turbo coupe) and has an increased top track speed of 196 mph. The 911 Turbo's standard safety features are also ample and include: ABS, Porsche Side Impact Projection, full-size airbags, deformable rear and front aprons with integral alloy bumpers on impact absorbers, an alarm system, and "welcome home" lighting.

Technology and comfort features, after review, are also more than sufficient, and much more impressive than several of the other Porsche 911 models. However, the 911 Turbo Coupe has a starting MSRP of $160,700, so it's one of the priciest 911 models this year. Standard features on the Porsche 911 Turbo include rain-sensing windshield wipers, a leather-trimmed steering wheel, full leather interior in several different color choices, a heated rear screen, integral headrests, Cruise Control, HomeLink programmable garage door opener, automatic climate control, Porsche Communication Management, Navigation, Bluetooth connection, a Bose Surround Sound System, a universal audio interface, and a telephone module. Optional technology features include XM radio, Voice Control, and a six-disc DVD/CD auto-changer.
