The Renault Megane Grand Tour Wagon has yet again thrust Renault into the limelight when it comes to visual excellence and practicality. The styling of the front end is a true masterpiece with smooth lines that plunge down from the pillars on the windscreen all the way to the logo which is placed at the center of the bonnet. When looking at the Renault Megane Grand Tour Wagon from the side, it is just as impressive. Renault has extended the wheel base on this model and it is 4,558 mm or almost 15 feet in length. This is approximately just under 263 mm or 1 foot in length compared to previous models. The width of this vehicle is 1,805mm or almost 6 feet.

Due to the dimensions with the Renault Megane Grand Tour Wagon, it has been possible to ensure that space is not an issue within the wagon. You will find the interior to be spacious and comfortable, for both driver and passengers. Leg room is not an issue with this wagon. The volume of the boot with this vehicle, up to the parcel shelf is 524dm and as you have the option to fold down the rear seats flat, you can expect to get up to 1,595dm. This is an impressive amount of space and has been further facilitated by the fact that the overall height of the vehicle has been lowered by 561mm or 1.8 feet.

When looking at the types of engine available with the Renault Megane Tour Wagon, you will be surprised at the wide variety of choices. If you prefer petrol you can have a 1.6 liter engine with 100bhp or 110bhp. You also have the option of a 2.0 liter engine with an impressive 140bhp. If diesel is your thing then you can have an engine similar in size to that of the petrol version and you can expect to achieve between 85 and 160bhp.

The gear box; as expected from Renault has been built using the latest technology and is a 6 speed. Manual, there have been reports by people who have tested the Renault Megane Grand Tour Wagon that it moves through the gears with ease and this adds to the enjoyment of their driving experience. However, this is limited to when you are on the highway. If you are off on a mountain trip and are going to be driving some pretty steep climbs then you may find that this wagon will not handle it so well, especially when fully loaded.

Just shifting back to the comments made about how roomy the Renault Megane Grand Tour Wagon is; within the cabin and the passenger areas, you will find plenty of storage compartments that have been built in order for you to be able to keep bottles of water or snacks; especially useful when on a long trip.
