Renault, as a car manufacturer constantly strives to keep the attention of their customers. With the Megane GT Sedan, this is no different. "Sporty" is the word that springs to mind when you first look at this car. This sedan comes in Malta blue and also in Anthracite grey (more commonly referred to as dark metal). These colors are exclusive to this version of the Megane, a theme you can see repeated throughout the cabin.

At the front of the Renault Megane GT Sedan you will find a bumper that has been re-designed in order to support the central air intake, it also has been finished off in glossy black at the center where the license plate is housed. The fog lamps have been installed into a metal colored recess which sits at both sides of the bumper. The head lamps have a dark background which makes this sedan look mean and moody from the front. At the rear of the Renault Megane GT Sedan the bumper has a diffuser which is aerodynamic in design and sits at the lower section. The frame of the windscreen has been surrounded in metal which is dark in color as opposed to the usual chrome which tends to be satin in finish.

The Renault Megane GT Sedan is powered by a 2.0 TCe 180 and 2.0 dCi 160 power plants. This is combined with a specific tunes chassis that is actually inspired by the Megane R.S. Those who are familiar with the R.S. typically immediately notice the similarities during a test drive. The GT is a sporty trim for the Megane, and you can tell by the extra pizazz in the acceleration and the phenomenal handling. The car rides smooth due to the suspension, yet you feel more like you are in a sport car than a luxury vehicle. Steering is responsive and it hugs every corner like it was made for it. This is a vehicle that you can't help but fall in love with when you drive it.

Like other Megane vehicles, the GT is equipped with thoughtful safety features, such as deadlocking, Renault keycard, tire inflation kit, rear parking sensors, heated rear window, airbags in all the right places, stability and under steer control, emergency spare wheel, cruise control with speed limiter and antilock brakes with emergency braking assist and electronic brakeforce distribution. Who says you have to compromise safety for an exciting driving experience?
