Due to the fact that this sport coupe has been designed with "sport" in mind, the suspension is pretty stiff so, if you hit a pot hole or bump in the road, you will know about it. As you would expect with any model of sport coupe, the car comes with bucket style seats, however Renault are keen to attract people to their vehicles that want something sporty for everyday use. With this in mind, the seats have been designed to offer comfort when you are going to be in the car for sometime but at the same time do not detract from the sportiness of them.

When it comes to the rear seats, the Renault Megane Sport Coupe is a little cramped in the back; it does come with 3 seat belts in the rear, however, you will be hard pressed to get five people in the car, especially since there are only 3 doors. The rear windscreen is also pretty small, which can leave your passengers feeling a tad claustrophobic.

The Renault Megane Sport Coupe comes with ESP or electronic stabilization program which has 3 stages. If you leave it in the normal stage the response from the engine is dialed back slightly and it will help when the car skids. In sport mode, you will be able to achieve a certain degree of skidding however; will not allow things to get out of hand. In this mode, the sensitivity of the throttle is increased and the torque is lower. It is recommended that you use normal mode when driving on regular roads or you may find that your sport coupe is a little over sensitive; however, ensure you switch to sport mode when out on the track, this will give you the ride of your life!

The brakes are Brembo and red in color and they are amazing when it comes to a quick stop. They are smooth and are not sticky and don't screech when you push them to the limit.

When looking at the Renault Sport Coupe from the outside, you will not be disappointed, if you are one of those people that are image conscious; this is the car for you. Some sport coupe's can look more like a "kit car" than an actual sports car. Renault has managed to achieve the latter with this model. There a skirts on the side that hug the ground and the front bumper has swooping lines that are not unlike that of the Renault Formula 1 car. The diffuser at the rear is Lamborghini in style and the exhaust is mounted in the center.

Storage is something we all need with our vehicles and considering that Renault market the Megane Sport Coupe as a sporty car, you can still expect to get a decent amount of boot space. With the boot alone you will find that it is 344 liters in size, however, you have the option to lay the rear seats flat to the floor and this will extend the space you have to 991 liters. The openings however, are fairly high lipped and narrow, so when lifting heavy or bulky items into the boot it may take more than one person.

Fuel consumption is not expected to be that great with a sports coupe, in actual fact, the Renault Megane Sport Coupe does not do too badly here. You can expect to achieve just less than 34mpg, this has been reported as achievable whether you are in city traffic, buzzing around those country lanes or driving along the highway.

If you're looking for a sporty looking car that you can have an immense amount of fun with on and off the road, that is to say, driving around town or racing on the track then the Renault Megane Sport Coupe is the car you should test drive today.
