The Twizy has four wheels and weighs less than 400kg. It is considered by some to be the future of transit in urban areas. It is a cross between a car and a scooter but it can do up to 50 mph. The Twizy is a great little vehicle to maneuver.

The Twizy would be a great little car to just go into town and do your weekly shopping or other light errands. I don't think it would be a very good car to be driving on busy roads or highways. The Twizy will need to be charged up when its battery gets low. It could take roughly 3.5 hours or more to charge the battery.

There are different color options for the Twizy and the standard equipment on the Twizy is the 13 inch wheels and a charging cable that reaches about 9 feet. The windshield is heated and tinted. It also features an onboard computer on the dashboard that also has a consumption display for the battery.

The Twizy is definitely going to appeal to the younger crowd because they are more socially conscious of our environment. Really all of us that are concerned about the environment will love the concept of the Twizy. It is an electric concept car that was actually introduced in the popular game, the Sims 3. This was a very smart way for Renault to build the Twizy brand and market the younger crowd. How much fun would it be to have the same car as your Sims character?

The Twizy is probably not going to be popular with everyone. I don't think that young men are going to appciate the style of it. Any young man I know of, just getting out of their teens, is into hot and flashy muscle cars. The Twizy is as far from a muscle car as you can get. Now, on the other-hand, I have a feeling that a lot of young girls would just love the Twizy. It is fun and colorful and just right for going around the neighborhood. Older people who might normally have a golf cart in small communities would also really enjoy the Twizy. It is perfect for that kind of traveler.

The name Twizy to me sounds kind of fun and funky. It sounds more like that red and black long string of licorice to me, Twizzler. If the Twizy is part of our future of vehicles, that just seems to me to be straight out of a Star Trek movie. One thing about the Twizy is that if you go to the Renault factory, you have one custom-built to your specifications. That means you can choose almost any design and choose pretty much any color. This also means that there won't be two Twizy's alike on the roads. The Twizy is going to make for a great and very colorful, yet strange future.
