Current BMW sedan models include: the BMW 3-Series, the BMW 5-Series, the BMW M3 Series, the BMW M5 Series, the BMW 7 Series, and the BMW ActiveHybrid 7.

The BMW 3 Series is a line of compact executive cars which has been produced since the 1975 model year and is now in its sixth generation. It comes in coupe, sport sedan, convertible, and station wagon variants. The 3 Series is known for its spacious interior and good looks. The 2012 BMW 3 Series comes in the following models/trims: the 328i Sedan, the 328i xDrive Sedan, the 335i Sedan, the 335i xDrive Sedan, and the 335D Sedan, ranging in price from $35-44k. The 3- Series competes with such vehicles as the Acura TL and the Audi A4. Any 3 Series vehicle will offer its driver one of the best sports cars on the market. . The 2012 BMW M3 Series is based on the standard 3 Series, but it has a lot more power. The M sedan's pricing starts around $56k, and it produces 414 horsepower. It competes with the Cadillac CTS-V and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class.

The BMW 5 Series a mid-size /executive car that first hit BMW production lines in 1972. The vehicles is now in its 6th generation and comes in touring and sedan variants. It comes as the 528i sedan, the 528i xDrive, the 535i Sedan, the 535i xDrive, the 550i Sedan, and the 550i xDrive Sedan, ranging from $45-64k. The 5-Series is basically the 3-Series in a larger, more family-friendly package. The BMW M5 Series is based on the standard 5-Series, but it has a lot more power to offer its drivers. It was produced in 2010, but interested parties can still buy it new from stock. It has a price of about $85,700, and competes with such vehicles as the Audi S6 and Audi A8.

The BMW 7 Series is a line of full-size luxury vehicles that first made its debut in 1977. The 7 Series BMW's flagship car and is only produced in extended-length limousine and sedan models. The 7 Series is known for introducing new technologies and design before they premier on smaller BMW models in the lineup. The 7 Series sedan models come in several trims, including: the 740i Sedan, the 740 Li Sedan, the 750i Sedan, the 750i xDrive Sedan, the 750Li sedan, the 750Li xDrive Sedan, the Alpina B7 Sedan, the Alpina B7 xDrive Sedan, and the 760Li Sedan, with prices ranging from $71k-$137k. The BMW ActiveHybrid 7 is based on the BMW 7 Series and is equipped with a future-focused, hybrid-powered engine. It produces an amazing 455 horsepower and comes in at about $97,000.
