The Subaru Impreza 2.0i Premium 5-Door Sedan is known as the most fuel-efficient all-wheel drive vehicle in America. The new Impreza comes standard with Subaru's Vehicle Dynamics Control (SVDC) - a system which combines traction and stability control functions and a Brake Assist safety system and Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD). The Impreza has earned its stellar reputation through a storied history of reliability and encouraging reviews. The Subaru Impreza 5-passenger first arrived in the spring of 1993 when it replaced the tried-and-true Subaru Royal. This new Impreza was smaller in size, lighter in overall weight, and had a lower price than Subaru's only other wagon/sedan offering at the time- the Subaru Legacy. The original Impreza was powered by an exquisitely engineered 1.8 liter 4-cylinder engine that produced 118 horsepower and offered full time all-wheel drive or front wheel drive. Trims ranged from the baseline L to a more well-appointed LS trim model. As the years passed, the Impreza continued to feature its celebrated drive train and many of the unfailing components that were used in the steadfast Legacy. This aided the Subaru brand in reducing development and manufacturing costs and kept the price of the Impreza 5-Door Sedan small. The years have flown by, and today Subaru continues to be known for the standard feature it made popular in 1972- its All-Wheel Drive (AWD) transmission, which does (and always has) come standard in all of its vehicles.

The 2012 Subaru Impreza 2.0i Premium 5-Door Sedan is one of many trims the new Subaru Impreza offers. Other trims include the: the 2.0i 4-or 5-door basic, 2.0i Premium 4 door, the 2.0i Traditional, the 2.0i Sport Premium, and the 2.0i Sport Limited. The Premium package comes complete with several upgrades, including: 16-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, Bluetooth hands-free audio and phone, a six-speaker audio system with iPod connectivity, and an available power moonroof. The 2012 Subaru Impreza 2.0i Premium 4-Door Sedan has a starting MSRP of $19,295- a small price to pay for this amazing vehicle that includes the perfect amount of additional features. It achieves a whopping 36 mpg on the highway- a full 38 percent increase from last year's model- and 27 mpg in the city, which is also a large increase since last year. Subaru continues to impress us with their ability to understand customer desires. In review, we think the 2012 Subaru Impreza 2.0i Premium 4-Door Sedan is a great buy with excellent features.
