More Used Subaru Sedan Reviews /All Subaru Cars

The Subaru Legacy 2.5GT Limited Sedan separates itself from the other trims with added features on top of all the other ones that come standard on the base models. Some of the more distinguished upgrades include a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with a 6-speed manual transmission that cranks out 265 hp in total. The zero to 60 mark clocks in at an impressive 5.7 seconds. With the added power however comes the realization that upon further review, the Subaru Legacy 2.5GT Limited Sedan does not offer the CVT as an option. This may disappoint some car buyers in search of the common place automatic transmission. The other downside to the upgraded engine will be the dismal fuel economy. The turbocharged 2.5-liter gets an estimated 18 city / 25 highway.

Subtle changes to the exterior of the Subaru Legacy 2.5GT Limited Sedan include the hood scoop, and the larger 18-inch alloy wheels. Many people may fail to notice the difference in looks compared to any of the other 2.5i trims. On our review of the inside, the 2.5GT adds the sunroof, leather upholstery, and a unique interior trim as standard par. While the added features may appeal to some, many believe based on reviews, that they simply don't equate to the added cost especially with an overall lower fuel economy rating. Simply put, the perks don't make up for the quirks. Other standard features the Subaru Legacy 2.5GT Limited Sedan includes are the in-dash navigation system, All Weather package, Bluetooth capabilities, Kardon audio system with iPod functionality, all-wheel drive, airbags on every side, traction control, and bigger brakes. The Subaru Legacy 2.5GT Limited Sedan also only comes in Limited guise which means that it also adds fog lamps, and a dual-zone climate control feature.

Again, the safety standard reviews of the Subaru Legacy 2.5GT Limited Sedan are on par with every other highly rated Subaru vehicle. The 2.5GT showed great results in the brake tests by stopping within 111 feet while going 60 mph. With the widened body of the Legacy, and ever-present all-wheel drive, the Subaru Legacy 2.5GT Limited Sedan is a reliable, safe vehicle no matter what your motivation behind purchasing it is.
