The Outlander is an affordable smaller midsized Mitsubishi SUV that offers a sportier handling than many of its SUV competitors. It does lack in interior finish quality and overall performance when compared to competitors such as the Chevrolet Equinox, Kia Sorrentoand Subaru Forester but it offers a responsive transmission, cargo space options and the overall look of the SUV body stands out as something different.The Outlander includes 6 airbag system safety, Active Stability Control (ASC), Anti-Lock Brakes (ABS) and the excellent Mitsubishi powertrain 10 year/100,000 mile warranty.

Fuel economy is 28 mpg on the highway and 23 mpg in the city with a 16.6 gallon fuel tank.

The Outlander SE starts at $23,345 for the 2WD and $24,845 for the AWC version with additional extras such as a 6 CD/MP3 player and 18" alloy wheels.
