As the exterior of the Suzuki SX4 Sedan is an exercise in practicality so it continues with the interior and even taken to further levels. First impressions are very favorable with much thought obviously having gone into making the Suzuki SX4 Sedan as aesthetically pleasing and ergonomically sound as possible. The instrument panel is easy to follow with all the various knobs and dials laid out for maximum ease, with a few simple driver and passenger comforts, such as cup holders, door handles and armrest all strategically placed.

Safety features abound on the Suzuki SX4 sedan beginning with eight airbags: two in the front dashboard, two at side for the driver and front seat passenger as well as side curtain airbags, and side airbags for the rear seats. The Suzuki SX4 sedan, in keeping with its market niche as a small family saloon for young families, also comes with LATCH child seat anchors as standard.

The Suzuki SX4 Sedan basic version comes with black cloth bucket seats, tiltable steering wheel, antilock brakes, steel wheels with P195/65R15 tires , a Garmin navigation system, halogen headlamps, 60/40 split rear seat, rear seat standard are a tire-pressure monitor as standard.

The next version on the SX Sedan scale is the LE, which comes with air conditioning, power windows, power door locks, and power mirrors as well as an AM/FM radio CD player, P3 audio system. The next one up the ladder after the LE is the Anniversary Edition that has all the accessories of its baser models as well as cruise control, continuously variable transmission (CVT), rear disc brakes, leather covered steering wheel, heated front seats and heated mirrors.

The sports version of the SX4 Sedan comes with a load of eye-candy starting with seventeen inch alloy wheels, P205/50 all season tires, front and rear spoilers and a sport-tuned suspension among a few other toys.

Each of these models, while retaining the Suzuki SX4 sedan's original body shape, has had a character developed of its very own.

In such a well designed and produced vehicle in a relatively tight category, it is quite difficult to find too many glaring downsides or upsides to the Suzuki SX4 Sedan, scoring points over each of its rivals in one way or the other. As part of a general pattern the SX4 Sedan offers very good value in terms of price/finish ratio while falling behind slightly because of reduced space for back seat passengers and less than encouraging fuel consumption.
