Toyota RAV4 SUV Pros and Cons



 Pros The RAV4 successfully combines power with fuel economy in its optional V6 engine mode.

 Pros Tremendous cargo space with a totally flat load floor

 Pros All that is required to switch the RAV4 to a full cargo carrier is to flip a simple lever on the second-row seats.

 Pros Fully retractable second row and optional third row seats head restraints provide an unrestricted view from the rear view mirror

 Pros The RAV comes with a long list of auxiliary storage options with the doors having fixed plastic map pockets, net pouches in the front seatbacks wear, and ten cup holders spread around the cabin

 Cons Interior finish could be better.

 Cons Limited head room for taller than average drivers.

 Cons The RAV tailgate has a right-side hinge impeding loading on the left side of the road.

 Cons The second-row seats fit three people at a real pinch.

 Cons Access to the third row can only be made by tilting the second-row seats.

 Cons The optional third row seats are very uncomfortable for any length of journey.
