Pros Larger interior space accommodates the 5-seat capacity comfortably. The backseats are especially large, and would be great for kids or adults alike.

Pros Wide selection of engines, and drive trains to choose from. A special turbo-diesel engine is especially fuel efficient.

Pros The interior of the Volkswagen Passat Sedan appears upscale, and uses high quality materials throughout.

Pros Many features come included even on the base version of the 2012 Volkswagen Passat Sedan.

Pros Fuel economy can reach up to 40mpg if you choose to go with the TDI engine style. This is even better then many hybrid models.

Pros A simple, clean dashboard layout will please those who enjoy ease of use

Cons The base 2.5-liter engine doesn't produce the power desired from other sedan models

Cons Although rated highly in safety reviews, the braking distance is less then stellar

Cons The pedals are weirdly placed. You may become accustomed to this though after owning for a while.

Cons The wind and road noise is noticeable at times.

Cons Although the standard features list comes with a lot, there are many amenities still missing. The trim lineup can also become confusing for the average buyer with so many different options available to them.
